1.  What is required to reserve my event date? There is a $50 non-refundable deposit required to hold your date on our calendar.  This is applied to the balance of your cake. 2.  Can you create cakes from a picture? Yes – Any picture can be duplicated or changed to match your ideas, however, every artist's piping technique is different and expecting it to be identical is unrealistic. 3.  How Can I pay for my Wedding Cake? There are several ways to pay for your Wedding Cake. We accept personal checks made out to Fancy Cake Shop, money orders & credit cards. At time of booking you are required to put down a $50.00 non-refundable deposit in order to guarantee your date will be held.  A Payment plan is also available to all brides.  To take advantage of this payment plan your full balance must be paid 10 days before the date of your wedding.  If your balance has not been paid before the 10-day deadline your date will be released and made available for additional orders.  **You will be required to pay an additional $50 booking fee in order to retain your date if you have missed the Full Payment Deadline. 4.  Can I order through the Internet? Yes!!  You can order your party cakes right over the internet with the new Order Your Cake page available on the menu to your left.  You can order a basic party cake for any occasion.  It's simple to use and your order is guaranteed with at least 2 week's notice.  For Wedding Cakes however, you must still Schedule a Sampling and set up an appointment to order your cake. 5.  How much time before an event do I need to place an order? For wedding cakes it's recommended to order at least three to four weeks prior to the wedding.  All orders subject to availability.  To order a party cake, you can use the Order Your Cake Page and order online.  Your order is guaranteed with 3-days notice. 6.  Do you charge for Delivery? Delivery & Set-Up is free for all Wedding Cakes & Tiered cakes requiring set-up up to 40 miles.  Party Cake orders must be picked up in our store front location.  Deliveries over 40 miles are priced at $1.00/mile (both ways). 7.  Do you have corporate accounts? Yes. Many companies set-up corporate acounts to celebrate employee birthdays, to give cakes to customers, or to celebrate company events. Any occasions is covered - tell me what you'd like or I can create a cake for your theme. 8.  Can I order a sheet cake with my Wedding Cake to help reduce costs? Absolutely!  We offer undecorated sheet cakes with the purchase of a Wedding Cake with at least 100 servings to help reduce the costs to our brides.  There is a limit of one sheet cake with each Wedding Cake order so if you need 200 servings you will need to order a Wedding Cake to serve 120 as our largest sheet cake serves 80.
